Your new company
Your new company is a prestigious higher education body based in Edinburgh who are part way a transformation of their IT Services function and how they are delivered. As part of the change that is ongoing a new TOM has been put in place and as such our client are looking for an IT Support Manager with a strong background in the ITIL/Service Delivery space.
Your new role
Your new role as an IT Support Manager will be split across both technical and operation change. From an operational perspective our client are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in the Service Delivery or ITIL space, preferably someone with an ITIL certification and currently working in an ITIL environment. On the technology side you will have strong experience working with the Apple ecosystem and a background in the delivery of migrations within and typical Wintel infrastructure environment.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a background working with the following technologies:
- Strong Apple/Mac/iPad skills with experience of JAMF
- Previous experience of migrations and deployments through SCCM
- Knowledge of environments where a BYOD policy is in place
- Strong Infra knowledge in the usual areas (Virtualisation, Servers, AD, Networking etc)
