The Automotive Technician is responsible for timely repair and maintenance of light and medium fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift depending on the season - 11 AM - 8 PM or 12 PM - 9 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
Working on light/medium gas fleet, lawn movers/equipment - small gas engines
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light to medium duty equipment, Pumps and blowers, small engines
Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles
Interact with clients through both email or phone as necessary
Perform other duties as required
At least 1-2+ years hands on experience performing preventative maintenance, oil changes, working on alternators
Excellent communication skills
Must have valid Driver’s License- Class C
Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
Must provide own hand tools & toolbox
