Tradewind Recruitment is working with a highly regarded and popular primary school in Chorlton to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a dual role supporting EYFS pupils and leading after-school care.

This unique, part-time opportunity is ideal for a nurturing, organised individual who enjoys working with young children and creating a calm, safe environment after the school day ends.

🕒 Working Hours:

12:00-3:00pm: Classroom support in EYFS as a Teaching Assistant

3:00-6:00pm: Lead the after-school provision for the students in EYFS until children are collected

Please note: The role is paid until 6:00pm daily, even when pupils are collected earlier - which is common.

💼 Responsibilities:

Support learning and play in a busy EYFS setting

Organise and deliver engaging after-school activities

Ensure a smooth handover to parents and carers

Create a nurturing, well-supervised environment for children aged 4-7

✅ What We're Looking For:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience in EYFS or early primary years

A warm, responsible, and proactive approach

Reliability and confidence managing small groups of children independently
