About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of a student within the Year 4 class.Your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 support tailored to the student's individual needs
Assisting with classroom activities and adapting materials to accommodate the student's learning style
Implementing strategies to support the student's academic progress and social-emotional well-being
Collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create and implement personalised learning plans
Managing any challenging behaviours in a calm and supportive manner
Building positive relationships with the student, their peers, and parents/carers to foster a supportive learning environment.
Entry Requirements:

Previous background working closely with challenging SEN students, preferably within a primary school setting
Updated enhanced DBS certificate
