Our client, a well-established organisation operating in a regulated and complex environment, is looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Accountant into a key role within their finance team. This position will suit a technically strong, qualified accountant who enjoys ownership of statutory reporting, audit coordination and continuous improvement, while working closely with senior stakeholders.

• Prepare statutory financial statements and support group reporting requirements.
• Deliver accurate and timely month-end close, including reconciliations, schedules and analytical review.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with group accounting policies and IFRS.
• Coordinate the external audit process, managing timelines, deliverables and audit queries.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of a robust internal controls framework.
• Provide technical accounting support for complex or judgemental areas.
• Build effective working relationships across finance and wider business teams.

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts.
• Strong audit exposure, either from practice or industry.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
