Business Analyst III
Education: Bachelors Degree preferred and 4 years of relevant experience. Education may be substituted for additional years of experience.
Experience: • Minimum of 5 years experience • The Business Analyst credential (CBAP) is a plus Knowledge,
• Knowledge of and/or experience in MS SharePoint. • Ability to navigate the project team, IT personnel and business sponsors through a level of ambiguity including business process change; building organization and structure to requirements to drive out and define detailed requirements in an efficient manner.
• Understands multiple highly complex project management methodologies/software development approaches and defines the appropriate deliverables through project phases (i.e. planning, analysis, specification and validation). • Proficient meeting facilitator, demonstrated experience in facilitating sessions (10 to 20 people) using technologies to help define scope and requirements during the lifecycle. • Creative problem solver.
• Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of IT organization`s systems and capabilities. • Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise`s competitive edge. • Candidates must be a United States Citizen, or have certification of resident alien status with intent to become a citizen Individual Competences: Demonstrates Self-Awareness, Collaborates, Problem Solving, Communicates Effectively, Action-Oriented
Job Summary : Advanced Level Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Analyzes business partner`s operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.
Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. May make recommendations for buy versus build decisions. Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
