Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Remote + regular island travel (expensed)
Contract: 12 Jan - 11 Apr
Annual Salary Equivalent: £50,000 - £55,000
Hours: 37.5 per week
We're looking for a Project Manager to support defence-sector programmes on a short-term contract. You'll lead project delivery, manage subcontractor work packages and ensure all milestones, quality and compliance requirements are met. Remote role with required travel to the island.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and manage project plans, schedules and resources
• Lead customer communication and project reviews
• Manage subcontractor deliverables
• Maintain RAID logs and drive mitigations
• Ensure defence compliance and security requirements
• Monitor budgets and support reporting
• Apply Earned Value Management
• Liaise with engineering teams and manage Technical Queries
Skills & Experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Project
• Experience with schedules, RAID logs, EVM and subcontractor management
• Background in technical/engineering/regulated environments
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance
• Project Management qualification or relevant experience
