Due to continued growth, they are seeking skilled Security Installation & Service Engineers to join their expanding team.
The Role
The Security Installation & Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of advanced security systems, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and integrated fire and security solutions. The role involves frequent travel and working away from home on nationwide projects, providing services to a range of high-profile clients including Blue Chip companies and public sector organisations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and maintain access control systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and related security solutions.
Undertake servicing and reactive maintenance on installed fire and security systems (experience with Notifier fire systems advantageous but not essential).
Ensure all work is delivered to industry standards and company quality expectations.
Collaborate with project managers and colleagues to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service visits, and maintenance activities.
Candidate Requirements
Technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, fire, and intruder systems.
Experience with Lenel & PAC access control systems and Cathexis Vision VMS is desirable, though training can be provided.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home when required.
Full UK driving licence.
Relevant certifications (e.g. ECS, CSCS, IPAF) are advantageous.
Must be able to pass police vetting checks to work on secure sites.
