We are recruiting for a Facilities Manager to join our team at Bents for an immediate ; What’s the role? Our Facilities Manager role is ideal for someone who is looking to work in a busy, fast paced environment conducting the Centres Health and Safety along with soft and hard facilities ; Our Facilities Manager oversees the day to day running of their Facilities across the ; Working collaboratively with the Management Team, this hands-on role is to promote a culture of providing a safe and secure environment, whilst implementing the Company’s project ; The role is primarily to be responsible for managing all aspects of the Company’s Facilities, Maintenance and Health & Safety across the entire site and off-site ; Your daily role will include; Lead, direct and inspire the Maintenance team, keeping them motivated to deliver outstanding results and ; Being a great communicator, communicating with your immediate team daily and actively cascades communication to your Leader and ; Ensure all Centre activity meets all legislative requirements health and safety, trading standards, food hygiene and employment law. Responsibility for all statutory and legal compliance including environmental, safe operating and working procedures and fire ; Designs, communicates and implements Health and Safety practices to comply with legal requirements and ensures that Health and Safety at work procedures and processes are in place and regularly reviewed. Ensures they are proactively planning the Facilities team schedule, prioritising workload and monitors the standards of the maintenance being completed around the ; Works alongside the Retail and Visual Merchandising function to proactively plan ahead for Joiners workloads whilst ensuring the joiners workshop is safe and all joiners are trained to use machinery and ; Safe upkeep of all properties, including the maintenance and co-ordination of upkeep of rental properties belonging to the ; Deals with Project and Contracts conducting negotiations and its implementation. Planning ahead for ongoing projects as appropriate site ; Our ideal Facilities Manager will have the below skills and experience; It is essential that you will have a minimum of 3 years soft & hard facilities management experience along with; You will have a Health and Safety qualification NEBOSH or equivalent and working knowledge of H&S. You must have experience managing both hard & soft services as well as statutory ; It is desirable that you will have experience of working within the retail sector. You will have excellent project management and organisational ; You will have demonstratable leadership skills and the ability to ; Proven experience within facilities and property services ; Other details of the Facilities Manager role; - This is a full-time role, offering hours per ; Working hours will predominately be Monday to Friday however will include weekend work at peak periods, as well as emergency ; A flexible approach is required. - The role is on a permanent basis and we are looking for someone who is able to start promptly in the ; - Salary is negotiable on experience up to £35,000 per ; Who are Bents?
