VIGO is recruiting on behalf of a market-leading BMS specialist for ambitious Electrical Engineers keen on entering the BMS industry. If you have electrical engineering experience and the desire to evolve your skillset into BMS service engineering, this opportunity can offer you the required training and career development.

You will be taking on a dynamic role, learning industry-leading BMS methodologies, enhancing service levels, and developing your technical competency to grow into a resourceful BMS Service Engineer.

Role Overview

As a BMS Improver, your primary mission is to learn and hone your skills in BMS service engineering. With expert tutoring, you'll troubleshoot system issues, optimize energy performance, and learn to deliver world-class service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Attending training to develop comprehensive knowledge across advanced BMS systems

- Assisting BMS Service Engineers in resolving issues and enhancing system performance

- Working independently and with the team on multiple projects

- Learning networking, programming, and commissioning of BMS systems

- Adapting and delivering under varied and potentially challenging circumstances

- Participating in out-of-hours rota after training, offering support to the wider team

The Ideal Candidate

- Proven electrical engineering experience, looking to transition into BMS

- Comfortable working independently and within a team

- Strong customer service mindset with a goal-oriented approach

- Technically inclined with a propensity for troubleshooting and problem-solving

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Full UK driving license
