Nationwide Building Society are recruiting for Software Engineers to help them on their Digital Transformation journey to becoming a leading UK focussed #8239;  Who we're looking for Ideally you will have some of the following experience: Cloud native implementations with previous AWS experience and/or Azure, GCP etc. Working in Agile teams with Continuous Integration CI/CD and DevOps Pipeline Working with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Sonarqube, Pally, JIRA, Bitbucket, Nexus/Artifactory, Atlassian, .NET core, Veracode Cloud abstraction and deployment tools such as Terraform Automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef Container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenSHIFT, Mesos and Docker Working on Linux distributions such as CoreOS, Debian, RedHat; as well as Windows Coding languages and environments Python, C#, JS, .NET Building and maintaining multi-stage CI/CD pipelines Implementing Microservice architecture It would be nice if you could also bring: Experience in Financial Services/Retail banking would be preferred What you'll be doing We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join one of our rapidly expanding team. You will be empowered to shape the direction of solutions and, by utilising your tried and tested DevOps tooling design skills, you will be responsible for creating, delivering and supporting services that are engaging and solve the needs of those that interact with them. Work in a team of highly motivated engineers in a high expectation environment driving team performance through the engineering lifecycle from planning and development all the way through to operational support Help build the technological foundation within the team to effectively consume DevOps tooling and define future needs Help build Engineering culture both within the team and with the external technology community attend events and meet-up and publish content. Work Agile best practice within Nationwide and embody a culture of rapid and iterative create, test and learn Problem solve pain points in the CI/CD pipeline Communicate technical issues and constraints to team members.
