Zest Education are currently seeking Qualified Teachers (QTS) to provide day-to-day general cover across a range of fantastic secondary schools in Burton.
This is a great opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety and flexibility in their work. You’ll be covering lessons across a range of subjects, delivering pre-prepared work, and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment — no planning or marking required!

Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering set lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
- Managing the classroom and ensuring productive learning throughout the day
- Building strong, professional relationships with staff and pupils
- Upholding school policies and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and adaptability
- A passion for education and making a positive impact
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
