SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT

About the Role

We are seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support learners with a range of special educational needs in our inclusive secondary school. You will work alongside teachers to adapt learning materials, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support students with SEND across KS3 and KS4

Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions

Help manage behaviour and promote emotional wellbeing

Assist in adapting resources and lesson delivery

Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals

About You

Experience working with young people (SEND experience desirable)

Patient, resilient and enthusiastic

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Relevant TA/SEND qualifications (or willingness to train)
