We’re working with a respected practice now part of a growing Top 40 group, who are looking for an Audit Senior or Audit Assistant Manager to join their expanding team in Winchester. You’ll work across a wide range of clients, lead interesting assignments, and be supported with structured development.

The opportunity:

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll lead audit assignments, supervise juniors, and get involved in client relationships and advisory work. With a strong mix of technical exposure and career development, it’s an ideal move for someone keen to progress into management.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and supervising audit assignments across multiple sectors
• Preparing audit files, planning work and leading fieldwork
• Reviewing and supporting junior staff, providing feedback and training
• Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
• Preparing corporation tax computations
• Ensuring assignments are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
• Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
• Developing technical knowledge through on-the-job training and formal programmes

What we’re looking for:

• ACA / ACCA qualified, with at least 3 years’ UK audit practice experience
• Strong financial reporting knowledge (UK GAAP)
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Organised, proactive and confident leading assignments
• Supportive team player with a professional, can-do attitude
• Strong IT skills (Excel essential; quick to pick up new systems)
