Spencer Clarke are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager; this is to work in a home for children and young people with Complex Needs in North West London. The home is run by a fantastic organisation with a clear vision for the young people in their care, and transparent plans for progression and professional development for all members of staff from Registered Manager to Support Worker. As a Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to recruit and support the team with full autonomy. What the company offers:
- Salary dependent on experience and knowledge: £60,000.00 per year
- Clear progression plans, development programs and first-class in-house training
- Bonus scheme dependent on OFSTED ratings
What the post requires:
- A minimum of 5 years' working in Residential Childcare
- At least 2 years in a role supervising and managing staff in a Deputy Manager role
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce/Residential Childcare
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
- Must have a "GOOD" or "OUTSTANDING" OFSTED inspection within the last two years
What the post responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and regulatory requirements
- Meeting all budgetary, regulatory, and service development targets
- Matching potential young people with the current residents
- Ensuring young people have a positive influence from the staff team through your leadership and management of the home
- Preparing reports and attending a range of meetings, such as review meetings with multi-agency partners, management meetings, and interviewing new potential staff for your team
