Senior Accountant Position – Brentwood!

Reed is currently representing a well-established Accountancy Practice based in the Brentwood area, who are looking for an ACA/ACCA/AAT or Qualified by Experience Qualified Senior Accountant, who has got experience managing a portfolio of clients.

Job Role

• Preparation & review of accounts for submission.
• Processing of personal tax returns for review, including information gathering
• Management of business tax matters for seld-employed accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with clients & organisation, including HMRC.
• Advise on work throughout the year, providing a commercial mindset to planning.
• Support colleagues with ad hoc duties as required.
• Review the work of other team members, providing construction & supportive feedback.

Job Requirements

• ACCA/ACA/AAT or Qualified by Experience
• Must have at least 5-6 years of experience within an Accountancy Practice
• Experience using Xero, QuickBooks & Sage
• Previously assisted junior members of staff
