Role- Project Manager

Salary- £42,000 - £52,000 per annum

Type- Permanent

Location- Surrey

My client designs, manufactures and services electro-mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Project Manager for a new projects team, on a permanent basis, in the Surrey area.

The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

BEng/ BSc qualification or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Approx. 4 or more years of experience in other Project Engineer / Project Manager roles in engineering and manufacturing environments
Previous experience working in a product environment (mechanical, software, hardware, service etc.)
Prince2, PMI or APM qualification would be desirable but not essential
The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent proficiency working with MS Office
Have excellent communication skillsThe Project Manager role will involve:

Being involved in high-impact projects
Being responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of these projects
Always having a risk controlled approach
Making sure they're delivered on-time and in budget
Driving continuous improvement
Adhering to governance standards and frameworks
Ensuring projects meet project plans
Supporting with project planning
