Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent after 12 weeks. The role involves a variety of warehouse duties including unloading deliveries, picking, and packing orders, and general manual handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual Handling: Safely lifting and moving boxes weighing between 10kg and 35kg
- Unloading Deliveries: Unloading lorries and container lorries efficiently and safely
- Picking & Packing: Accurately picking customer orders and packing goods ready for dispatch
- General Warehouse Duties: Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Working Efficiently: Meeting daily targets while maintaining high-quality standards
- Proactive Approach: Supporting the team and using initiative to ensure smooth warehouse operations
Requirements
- Previous warehouse and picking and packing experience
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
