Registered Children’s Home Manager - Location: Southeast London

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OFSTED Registered Manager to oversee the operations of a children’s home accommodating up to 4 children for emergency, medium-term, and long-term placements. The home has recently been renovated to a very high standard, including separate staff quarters with en-suite facilities.
Day-to-day of the role: - Manage all aspects of the home’s operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor the quality of care provided and ensure it aligns with the home’s statement of purpose.
- Lead and develop a team of staff, providing supervision, appraisal, and support.
- Promote partnership working with young people, their families, and other agencies.
- Ensure effective communication and information flow within the team.
- Oversee health and safety regulations and maintain the home’s facilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children in the last 5 years, with at least 1 year at a senior level.
- Knowledge of the Children Act 1989, child protection policies, and quality standards.
