We have a vacancy for a Subsea Engineer to work at Liverpool Bay, Northop, Mold. The Senior Subsea Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise during the planning and execution of any subsea maintenance and or repair activity. The role involves working closely with the different discipline engineers, HSE, Structural and Pipelines and Well Services, to ensure activities are completed in a safe and responsible manner that delivers company and regulatory objectives . The Senior Subsea Engineer shall act as the technical authority and focal point to provide subsea and marine engineering support for operating sites and will be the focal point for all diving activities. They will liaise with the approved Diving and ROV service provider to ensure they comply with Eni and Regulatory standards and guidelines for subsea work within UK waters. The Subsea Engineer will normally fulfil the role of the Clients Offshore Representative, during any subsea campaign (Diving or ROV). The role will require close liaison with the Operations teams onshore and offshore and will require both planned and ad hoc attendance at the operating sites. Therefore, candidates must have valid HUET and BOSIET Certificates. Candidates must have following skills and experience: * Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry; Diving Management and Subsea Inspection divisions. * Working knowledge ROV Inspection Techniques, ROV and Diving Maintenance methodologies, including blasting, cleaning NDT techniques and repair methods * An extensive and complete knowledge of the relevant UK diving and subsea statutory legislation. Diving at Work Regulations 1997 * Competent in Fitness for Service Assessment of Subsea Defects on Structures and Pipelines. * Demonstrable HSEC knowledge skills, including knowledge of Safety Case, Computer literate, including experience with maintenance management systems * Strong communication, presentation, negotiation influencing skills Awareness of the following Regulations: * ISO 19901.1 to ISO 19901.6 Offshore Structures Fixed and Mobile * Pipelines Safety Regulations * Pressure Systems Safety Regulations * Offshore Installations (Safety Case) Regulations * Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations * Offshore Installations and Pipeline Works (First Aid) Regulations * Offshore Installations (Prevention of Fire and Explosion, and Emergency Response) Regulations * Risk Assessment; * Safety Case/PFEER/Pipeline Safety Reg/COMAH * Integrity Management; Understanding * Hazardous Area Management * Possess a working knowledge of Marine and Subsea design standards, relevant codes and recommended practices * Familiar and previous experience with Marine and or Subsea management principles and fundamentals * Understanding of Risk Assessment Preferred Qualification(s): MSc Subsea Engineering. Chartered Engineer or equivalent, or working towards Chartership
