Randstad Education is looking for passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with special needs. An exciting opportunity is available to start immediately at a fantastic specialist school in Welwyn.

Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Support students with challenging behaviour.
- Prepare lesson materials and equipment.
- Assist with student's personal care needs (e.g., feeding, toileting).
- Help students with daily classroom tasks and learning activities.
- Ensure student safeguarding and support.
Requirements :
- Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with children with additional needs.
- 2 recent professional references.
- Experience managing challenging behaviours.
- Calm and caring personality.
- Strong and resilient character, committed to pupil development.
- Good reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Team Teach training (or willingness to attend).
