Randstad Education is looking for passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with special needs. An exciting opportunity is available to start immediately at a fantastic specialist school in Welwyn.

Responsibilities :

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
• Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Support students with challenging behaviour.
• Prepare lesson materials and equipment.
• Assist with student's personal care needs (e.g., feeding, toileting).
• Help students with daily classroom tasks and learning activities.
• Ensure student safeguarding and support.

Requirements :

• Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working with children with additional needs.
• 2 recent professional references.
• Experience managing challenging behaviours.
• Calm and caring personality.
• Strong and resilient character, committed to pupil development.
• Good reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Team Teach training (or willingness to attend).
