English Teacher - Secondary Education

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (depending on experience)
Location: Secondary schools across Merseyside
Start Date: September 2025 (earlier for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent)
DBS Check: Enhanced

We're working with welcoming and well-resourced schools across Merseyside that are looking for passionate English teachers to join their teams from September. Whether you're newly qualified or experienced, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact through creative and engaging English teaching.

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
• Teach a variety of texts, from Shakespeare to modern novels and poetry
• Create a classroom environment that encourages debate, interpretation, and creativity
• Mark work and provide feedback in line with school policy
• Differentiate lessons to support pupils of all abilities
• Engage in school life, including department meetings and CPD opportunities
• Build strong relationships with students and parents
