My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Manager to oversee a large commercial scheme based in Derby. This is a major project offering a long-term opportunity with a well-established contractor.
Mechanical Manager Responsibilities:

Reporting to and working closely with the Project Manager.
*
Managing all mechanical packages across the commercial development.
*
Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme and specification.
*
Working collaboratively with design teams, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
*
Overseeing quality control, ensuring all mechanical works meet compliance and industry standards.
*
Leading progress meetings and producing regular project updates.
*
Ensuring a strong focus on health & safety across all phases of the mechanical installation.
*
Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
Mechanical Manager Requirements:
*
Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial or M&E projects.
*
Strong mechanical building services background.
*
Ability to manage subcontractors, programmes, and technical delivery.
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
*
CSCS card and relevant mechanical qualifications.
