Our client is looking to recruit a Medium Business & International Trade Engagement Manager to join the team supporting their members across the region.

The role of Engagement Manager is an essential part of the membership team, with responsibility for recruitment of new members, and retention of current members in our medium business proposition to the achievement to four objectives.

This is a fixed term 12-month contract with the chance of going permanent after.

Key Responsibilities:

* The successful candidate will increase member engagement across the company's products and services, to ensure benefit associated with being a member are maximised to demonstrate ROI.

* Develop a thriving referral network(internally and externally) and knowledge and expertise of the local area/governance to be able to support members effectively

* Ongoing development and promotion of the Medium Business and International Trade proposition ensuring it remains both relevant and attractive in a challenging and fast changing business landscape

* To identify SME's who would benefit from the Chamber's suite of international trade support and services

* To identify and refer members who are interested in or who would benefit from further association with the Chamber; looking to increase brand or product awareness; or reach specific or select audiences, to relevant colleagues

* Advocate for medium and global propositions and representative of the membership team and wider business

The person:

* Account / relationship management and business engagement

* An established business network (regionally or North of region)

* Proven track record in B2B Sales

* Sophisticated level of business acumen

* Global/ international knowledge or expertise

* Ability to plan organise and prioritise workload

* Strong desire to identify solutions to problems and instigate change

* Be able to work flexible hours and locations

* Enthusiasm and the ability to work hard

* Must have use of a car and hold a current driving licence
