Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Export Operator to join a growing and supportive team based in Tilbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator who wants to be part of a busy, collaborative environment where you'll play a hands-on role in managing export operations from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

* Setting up and managing general export consolidations, with particular focus on USA trade lanes.

* Receiving, processing, and confirming bookings, ensuring all cargo details are accurate and deadlines are met.

* Preparing and issuing quotes for export consignments, including collection and delivery arrangements.

* Coordinating with hauliers and overseas agents for pick-ups, linehaul, and final delivery.

* Managing the full export process from initial enquiry through to final shipment, ensuring a smooth flow of information and documentation.

* Completing and checking all export documentation, including ISF and customs clearance requirements, to ensure compliance with international regulations.

* Monitoring shipments in transit, providing regular updates to clients and resolving any issues proactively.

* Liaising daily with customers, airlines, and internal colleagues to ensure a high level of service and attention to detail.

* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data is entered correctly into internal systems.

What we're looking for:

* Good knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements

* Confident communicator who can build strong working relationships with clients and partners

* Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple shipments under time pressure

Hours: 9:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
