Junior Management Accountant | Permanent | Hybrid | £45k

We are recruiting a Junior Management Accountant on behalf of our client based in St. Albans to work alongside their award-winning finance team! Flexibility with hybrid working following a successful probation period and you need to be qualified more than AAT for this role.

The responsibilities:

* Support the Preparation of management accounts for our group entities, including preparing Income Statements, Balance Sheet, cashflows and other financial documents for analysis in accordance with FRS102

* Support the consolidation process

* Help to maintain, document and support testing of our control environment and develop any remediation plans required with our compliance department Respect all deadline including the month end / year end close deadlines

* Reconcile balance sheet accounts, preparing month end journals including: o Salaries, depreciation, FX bank revaluations etc.

* Preparing accruals and prepayments.

* Maintain Fixed Asset registers and updating depreciation file for FA Coordinate and maintain Inter-company cross charges and transactions via a matrix.

* Support AP and AR teams

The skills:

* Actively studying for a recognised accounts qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA

* Advance excel knowledge

* Willingness to advance career to the next level!

* Working to tight deadlines

* Able to communicate at all levels

* SAP Business One experience would be an advantage
