Brickwork Lecturer - Sickness Cover

• Hourly Rate: 35-40
• Location: Surrey
• Job Type: Temporary (2 weeks from 16th March 2026 to 27th March 2026 and 7 weeks from 13th April 2026 to 29th May 2026)

We are seeking a skilled Brickwork Lecturer to provide temporary sickness cover. This role is crucial for maintaining the continuity of our educational services during the specified periods. The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching levels 1 to 3 Bricklaying courses.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver educational content for levels 1 to 3 Bricklaying courses.
• Carry out practical and theoretical brickwork tasks as required.
• Ensure all teaching is completed to a high standard and in accordance with educational standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure efficient delivery of the curriculum.
• Report any issues or delays to the educational manager promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in brickwork or a similar role, with a strong ability to teach levels 1 to 3 Bricklaying.
• Strong understanding of construction and educational safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a teaching team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must possess a current DBS check.
