Retrofit Project Manager – Housing Association – About the Company:

Castlefield are currently working with a large Merseyside based Housing Association to recruit a Retrofit Project Manager to manage the client-side delivery of retrofit and decarbonisation projects. This role offers hybrid working with two days per week in the office/on-site and the remainder from home.

Retrofit Project Manager – Housing Association – About the Role:

  • To manage all aspects including planning, preparation and contract letting process of investment related projects.
  • This will involve simultaneously managing multi £m projects with multiple stakeholders to strict deadlines.
  • The post holder will be expected to use performance management tools to deliver excellent services to meet operational goals and will focus on managing scheme scope, cost, quality, resource, communications and risk.
  • The post holder will possess a management style for managing contractors which contributes to an environment that is based on trust, mutual respect and integrity, where everyone takes accountability and responsibility, combined with working together as one team.

Retrofit Project Manager – Housing Association – About You:

  • A proven track record in delivering planned investment schemes, ideally retrofit
  • Significant experience of leading and managing site based staff and contractors overseeing improvement works
  • A successful track record of delivering investment schemes on time, within budget and to a high quality standard
  • A track record in delivering high profile major investment projects which contribute to enhancing the asset value of the business and in meeting the aims of the Asset Management Strategy.
  • Experience of running construction projects in compliance with all health and safety legislation including knowledge of the CDM Regulations.
  • Significant experience of managing schemes within budget including accurate cash flow forecasting and monthly financial performance reporting.
  • Evidence of working with both internal and external contractors to deliver schemes, chairing monthly site progress meetings and assisting the Contract Administrator in resolving contractual disputes in a timely manner.
