Job Details

Software for Hardware is headquartered, and the position is offered in, Atlanta, GA. However, remote location would be considered for a candidate with the right skills and experience. Remote location must keep an EST timezone office hours of 9:00am - 5:30pm. Computer, phone, and internet service will be provided by the employer. The position may involve infrequent travel (2-4 trips/year).

Job Responsibilities

Provide responsive technical support to our small business customers via phone, email, and online collaboration to troubleshoot and resolve software issues. Specific job duties include:

  • Remotely connect to customers' computers to investigate and resolve software problems and investigate MS network or server issues.
  • Remotely install software for new customers
  • Remotely update customer software when new releases provided
  • Communicate clearly with the development team when software coding fixes are required
  • Write help documentation for our customers
  • Run routine IT processes to update internal systems, load new software and backup databases.
  • Participate in development of next generation cloud-based product

Required Experience

  • Microsoft IT network Protcols including RDS
  • Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Basic
  • Hosted IT environments such as GoDaddy and AWS
  • Experience programming in VB
  • Web services cloud development

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with JavaScript and Node.js and C#
  • Experience with ASP.net, Ruby
  • Graphic design skills, HTML, CSS
  • Bachelor's Degree
