Job Description

Essential Job Functions
Test Engineer will coordinate with test laboratories to perform qualification testing such as those listed in RTCA-DO-160. Employee may also perform hardware assembly and test rig creation in-house for tests such as structural load, temperature testing, and endurance testing. Excellent technical writing and data analysis skills are required to create Test Procedures, Test Reports and Qualification by Similarity Reports. Experience (1-3 years minimum) with Solidworks and RTCA-DO-160 is required. Experience in Aerospace industry highly desired.

Employee will also support proper safety and 5S of shop equipment and flight hardware. Other job functions for all disciplines include continuous improvement tools, developing work instructions / standard work, and following all regulatory company procedures including thorough recording of all work to ensure traceability.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments.  Occasional Shop Floor involvement
Mostly computer work, with some movement of parts/boxes to floor or shipping department required
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
