STATISTICS

• Start date: Immediate & September roles available
• £100-£140 per day depending on experience
• Full time/ Long term /Permanent roles available in: Croydon, Kingston,Lambeth,Merton,Richmond,Southwark, Sutton and Wandsworth
• QTS holders - Welcome to apply
• MUST have minimum 1 year Teaching Assistant experience
• MUST have full UK right to work
• MUST have a fully enhanced clean child DBS or willing to apply through us
• MUST have HLTA/Equivalent qualification or extensive classroom experience
• MUST be a commutable distance to South London
• MUST have minimum teaching/working with the UK Curriculum

THE ROLE

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will be assisting the classroom teacher with bringing clarity and efficiency to lessons promoting inclusive education and fostering pupil development You will work with pupils on a generic level as well as 1:1.

Depending what key stage you feel most comfortable in or where you wish to excel, we will ensure to find you a role suited to you.

• EYFS (Early Years Foundation Studies)
• KS1 (Key stage 1 / Year 1 & 2)
• KS2 (Key Stage 2/ Year 3- Year 6)
• KS3 (Key Stage 3/ Year 7- Year 9)
• KS4 (Key Stage 4/ Year 10- Year 11)
• KS5 (Key Stage 5/ Year 12-Year 13)

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

• A confident HLTA with strong behaviour/ classroom management skills
• Subject/curriculum knowledge and ability to teach it in an enthusiastic creative way
• Familiarity with legislative requirements related to special educational needs and disabilities (SEN/D).
• The ability to work with a diverse range of pupils despite their ability
• An individual with a positive can-do attitude open to taking on challenges
• A team player with a strong commitment to professional development
• Has the vision to motivate and inspire children and promote excellence
