Genus Recycling is looking for a motivated Management Trainee to join our growing team in Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in business management within a fast-paced recycling and trading environment.

You will work closely with experienced staff across different areas of the business, gaining hands-on experience in operations, logistics, and commercial activities through a structured training programme.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist managers with daily business operations

* Support projects, reporting, and administrative tasks

* Learn about recycling operations, trading processes, and logistics

* Work with different departments to understand the full business operation

* Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and processes

Requirements

* A Levels or equivalent qualification

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Willingness to learn and take initiative

* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

* Positive attitude and strong work ethic

* Willingness to travel as part of the role

Salary & Benefits

* Salary: Circa £30,000

* Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

* Travel as part of the role, including fully expensed nights away

* Full two-year training programme

* Company mobile phone and laptop

* Non-contributory pension (10% of salary)

* Potential company car on completion of the training programme
