Our client is seeking a creative, experienced, and highly organised Exhibitions Producer/Manager to lead the delivery of public-facing exhibitions and events.

Leading the exhibition development process — from content creation and interpretation through to design and installation — ensuring that exhibitions, events, and public activities are delivered on time and within budget.

As part of the Culture and Community Engagement team, you will collaborate with academics, artists, students, and local partners to bring ideas to life through vibrant, accessible, and impactful programming.

This role requires a strong curatorial and production mindset, with a keen eye for detail, design, and audience engagement. With the aim of stimulating critical debate around research and teaching through arts, cultural and community engagement.

While there are no traditional exhibition galleries, a range of flexible, public-facing areas are available and actively programmed to support both cultural and academic activity.

What You'll Do

* Curate and produce exhibitions and public events that align with the clients civic and cultural mission.

* Collaborate with academic departments, artists, students, and east London communities.

* Manage project timelines, budgets, contractors, and installations from end to end.

* Develop interpretive and exhibition content that is engaging, inclusive, and accessible.

* Provide guidance for student- and academic-led exhibitions, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

* Support cultural programming linked to major partnerships including Trellis, East Bank, and the Community Seed Fund.

Essential:

* Proven experience in producing 2D/3D and multimedia exhibitions, ideally in public or non-gallery spaces.

* Excellent project and budget management skills.

* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

* A sound knowledge of health & safety, accessibility, and risk assessments in exhibitions.

* A passion for public engagement, co-creation and working with diverse & multicultural communities.

Desirable:

* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.

* Comfort navigating reputational and content sensitivities.

* Experience working within Higher Education.
