Working as part of the Internal Communications team and the Change and Engagement workstream of our Spartan programme, you will support the Communications Lead of Spartan to manage and deliver our communications and engagement approach for Spartan across the business - an approach which informs and inspires colleagues and provides them with clear, timely and concise communication messages so they have the knowledge and ability to move through the change. Your role will be to support the creation and delivery of the transformation comms and engagement plans for our Spartan programme. You will be one of the main points of contact in the team for Spartan comms and engagement and will need to ensure that change messaging and activity aligns with the overall Air Sector internal communications strategy and business narrative and the Group change and transformation and change agenda. You will work with Senior Leaders and their teams across our change programmes to identify change communications priorities, ensure they align with the Destination 2035 priorities, and influence and create plans in collaboration with these internal stakeholders. You will act as a change communications consultant, advising them on the best approach to communicating change to impacted audiences and the most appropriate channels to use. As part of the Internal Comms team, you will help shape and create the internal communication strategy and plans and contribute to evolution of our communication channels landscape. Core Duties Typical duties include (but are not limited to):
• Partnering with Spartan programme leads to be their trusted comms advisor to achieve comms objectives which are aligned to the overall programme and the Air Sector's Destination 2035 strategy.
• Develop, own and deliver change communications and engagement plans that are aligned to programme objectives and meets the needs of key stakeholders and impacted audiences.
• Create engaging change comms solutions to ensure engagement remains high and consistent throughout the programme. Use measurement and metrics to guide your plans and activities.
• Work with the internal comms team and other functional comms leads to ensure a joined-up approach, change comms activity alignment and promote sharing of resources and ideas.
• Create high quality change communication content, which is engaging, simple, motivating and on message.
• Make effective use of existing internal comms channels and resources recognising the need for multi-channel communication at all points during the programmes you support, as well as drawing on Internal Comms industry trends to deliver innovative and creative change comms solutions.
• Apply change comms and engagement methodology and principles that support the programme(s) and ensures successful delivery.
• Identify key metrics to measure comms effectiveness and provide quick solutions when an approach might not be working or needs refreshing. Safety: ? • Experience of owning and delivering a comms and engagement plan as part of a high-impact, sensitive change programme, including strong writing and creative comms skills.
• Experience of coming up with engagement solutions that help to keep colleagues engaged during times of change and also gain senior stakeholder buy in.
• Understanding and experience of creating comms and engagement metrics to ensure success of a plan and ability to drive change when these might not be working Skills:
• Ability to work, at times, in a changing environment with some level of ambiguity while able to self-manage under pressure to tight timeframes.
• Ability to take complex and sensitive information and turn it into clear, concise and engaging messaging.
• Diplomatic and experienced influencer who can confidently work with Senior Leaders and teams gaining their trust through advising on comms best practice and solutions in a fast-paced change environment.
• Ability to challenge and push the thinking of others outside normal practices, hold a high-level of gravitas and be the trusted comms expert in the room.
• A change communications track record in a similarly demanding or comparably sized organisation.
• Confident multi-channel communicator who likes embracing change and spotting improvements and helping others to do so.
