Who we are?
We are Care First Recruitment UK, a family run business who work no stop to place the right candidates to the right clients.
This client is a spacious house, set in the beautiful rolling Dorset countryside, just a mile from the thriving market town of Blandford Forum.
The two buildings have been designed to create a flexible and light living space for the seven young adults we support. Each of the individual bedrooms has full en-suite bathroom facilities; five of the bedrooms are in the main house and two are in a cottage.
All of the rooms have been decorated in colour schemes tailored to suit adults on the autistic spectrum and the sensory and communication needs of complex individuals have been incorporated into the design of the home and the training of the staff team.
We have an excellent activity and sensory room on site which is used as part of each individual's care package. The large, level gardens provide lots of outside space for sports, activities and relaxation. The property is surrounded by panoramic countryside with miles of country walks, as the site is located on a public bridleway.
Support workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. This could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them in the communal areas. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living which will include personal care and dealing with challenging behaviour and nonverbal communication.
