Cover People are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in the school's resource provision unit. Our partner Church of England primary school is rooted in a strong Christian ethos and strives to inspire every child to “be the best that they can be.” Pupils benefit from a nurturing, structured environment where individual needs are carefully supported, and positive relationships and mutual respect are central to daily school life.

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning experiences, support pupils' behaviour and emotional wellbeing, and help maintain a purposeful, safe, and inclusive environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEN support and strong behaviour management skills, who can engage and inspire pupils while contributing to a supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils' learning and social development in the resource provision unit.

• Assist with classroom management and positive behaviour support.

• Help deliver differentiated learning activities under teacher guidance.

• Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive environment for all pupils.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, preferably in a primary setting.

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

• Ability to adapt to individual pupil needs and tasks.

• Commitment to fostering inclusion, independence, and positive learning outcomes.
