Salary: £35000.00 - £40000.00 per annum plus bonus

The Role:

Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience.

The Sales Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for driving event and group sales at the venue. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing and reporting monthly and quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), maximising Spend Per Head (SPH) and exceeding established event and group revenue goals. The Sales Manager must display the ability to uphold Puttshack standards and procedures, maximise financial performance, and build relationships within the venue based operational teams and in the local community to help grow the Puttshack brand.

Location: Bank venue

Working Hours: 45 hours per week, shifts between Monday to Friday. (Occasional weekend sbject to business requirements.)

Reports to: General Manager with indirect reporting to Marketing & Sales Director

Key Responsibilities:


• Bring your 'A' Game each and everyday


• Lead by example by demonstrating Puttshack core values


• Manage sales teams schedule


• Respond to venue specific enquiries including show rounds and fam trips


• Contribute to the success of the UK group sales team through attendance at showcases, exhibitions and trade shows


• Partner with the venue and kitchen team for daily review of event orders


• Assist with event revenue forecasting and planning


• Lead and document weekly 1:2:1’s with direct reports


• Participate in Venue Leadership team meetings


• Create strategies to generate new business using local market data


• Establish relationships on behalf of Puttshack with the community and location


• Utilise Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to drive performance and standards

Who you are:


• Excellent communication, time management, presentation, and organisation skills


• Ability to go above and beyond, demonstrating meaningful care in everything you do


• A high level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and overall self-awareness

Qualifications and Experience:


• Prior experience as a Sales Manager in a high volume (£2M+ annual event/groups revenue) restaurant, hotel, or entertainment/leisure environment


• Overall knowledge of the local area businesses and existing client base


• Preferably 3+ years of B2B and/or B2C sales experience


• Line management experience preferable


• Experience of Triple Seat and Seven Rooms an advantage


• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
