Role Overview

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Trafford that is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a long-term position. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they progress through Upper Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated

Monitor and assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members

Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5

Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum

Excellent classroom management skills

Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

Ability to work collaboratively within a school team
