We're looking for a committed and proactive Caretaker to join our clients Estate Services team on a permanent basis.

You'll deliver a professional, respectful and efficient caretaking service across housing sites, ensuring residents enjoy safe, clean, and welcoming communal spaces.

Key Details:

Salary: £23,815 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 36.25 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm)

Location: Site-based - Manchester 

DBS Check Required

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality cleaning and caretaking services across schemes

Carry out inspections, minor communal repairs, and safety checks

Remove bulk waste and issue TORT notices

Collaborate with Neighbourhood, Estate and Direct Maintenance teams

Ensure all tasks meet compliance and health & safety standards

Maintain up-to-date records via handheld devices

Escalate safeguarding concerns in line with policy

What We're Looking For:

Previous caretaking or estates experience in a customer-focused setting

Good knowledge of COSHH and health & safety requirements

Ability to work independently and follow protocols

Basic DIY skills and use of hand/power tools (desirable)

Confident communicator and team player

Experience using mobile devices for workflow tracking

Awareness of safeguarding and social responsibility in housing
