gap healthcare is currently seeking an experienced and passionate registered nurse to work direct with their client in Clacton-on-Sea.

As the registered nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that a high level of care is provided and the service is compliant with policies and procedures. You will be supporting residents with a variety of needs such as dementia, learning and physical disabilities.

Duties will include administering medication, leading a team of HCAs, record keeping and various other duties. 

Skills Required:

An active UK PIN is required for this role.
Previous experience working as an RGN is required.
Up to date knowledge of clinical practices and working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Service manager in delivering care that helps improve the health of each resident.
To promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
To provide assistance in developing and updating care plans when required.
Ensure medication is ordered, administered and stored in line with NMC guidelines.
Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met and company policies and procedures are followed.
Develop and promote good communication with residents, relatives, and team members.
To assist in the development and implementation of the activities programme.
Liaise with GP's and other professionals to ensure outstanding care for the residents is maintained.
