BASIC SALARY: Up to £40,000 basic dependant on your relevant experience

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales / Account Management : Pharmaceutical / FMCG
We've created this new role for an experienced Sales Account Manager who is ambitious & already has a footprint in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare FMCG arena. Your natural progression will be to Key Account Management or perhaps you want to build & lead a team of account managers. This depends on you; once you've developed these existing Accounts.
This is a Head Office based role in Luton, where you'll support our two existing Key Account Managers & the General Manager who collectively handle our largest / most profitable accounts. There's no cold calling involved. Your leads are already there. You'll be contacting existing accounts (after analysing their buying data) to find ways to grow & maximise turnover.
Ask yourself - Where else are our existing customers buying from? Do they know the new products we've launched? Do they realise our full product portfolio? Etc
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales / Account Management : Pharmaceutical / FMCG
- Maximise the 50+ existing accounts that we feel can be developed with more attention
- You'll grow these accounts how you see fit through telephone discussions & face to face meetings
- Communicate effectively to our customers on new product launches, special offers & monitor tender renewal dates
YOUR BACKGROUND: Sales / Account Management : Pharmaceutical / FMCG
- You need a proven track record of selling FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare or Cosmetics products to customers such as: retailers, retail wholesalers, &/or directly to Pharmacies, Medical practices, Clinics or Hospitals etc
This sales experience could come from manufacturers, distributors, merchandisers or wholesalers.
We have been established nearly 40 years & manufacturer a wide range of FMCG products; supplying Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, & Cosmetics goods directly to major retailers, wholesalers & pharmacies.
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: sales, account management, business development, pharmaceutical, FMCG, healthcare, cosmetics, consumables, medicines, vaccines, medication, prescription, drugs.
