Precision in Practice. Purpose in Progress.
You're not here to coast. You're here to contribute. To take ownership of something that matters. To make sure that when a student sits down to take an exam, what's in front of them is fair, clear, and right.
If you've got a sharp eye for detail, a steady hand under pressure, and a head for quality-keep reading.
There are lots of company benefits, including a fantastic pension (up to 11.5% employer contributions), a 35 hour working week, 25 days annual leave with additional office closure in December and bank holidays on top, the opportunity to join lots of network groups (LGBTQ+, neurodiversity, disAbility, Empowering Women, Wellbeing, Ethnic Minority and more) an extensive online learning platform, days for volunteering and more. AQA is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone-regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, age, disability, sexual orientation, or background-is valued, respected, and supported to thrive
At AQA, we produce over 2,000 exam papers and assessment materials every year. That's millions of questions, answers, and mark schemes that shape the futures of hundreds of thousands of students.
As an Assessment Support Manager, you'll be responsible for a portfolio of specifications. You'll manage the creation and approval of assessment materials, support regulatory compliance, and ensure the quality of marking and moderation. You'll also work with external associates and internal teams.
You'll be part of a team that champions quality, drives improvement, and makes sure every assessment is fit for purpose.
You'll need to be confident with data, comfortable with compliance, and capable of managing processes. You'll need to be a communicator, a collaborator, and someone who can spot a problem before it becomes one.
You'll also need to care. About students. About standards. About getting it right.
This isn't a stepping-stone role. It's a role where you step up.
If you're ready to bring structure, clarity, and purpose to the world of assessment, we'd love to hear from you.
