CNC WIRE MACHINIST (EDM)

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Wire Machinist to work for our client who are in Otley, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES:

* Set up and operate Wire EDM machines with Fanuc controls.

* Read Engineering drawings to interpret part specifications.

* Load programs, make offset adjustments, and fine-tune as needed.

* Monitor machining processes and inspect finished parts to tight tolerances.

* Perform routine maintenance and ensure machine cleanliness.

* Follow safety procedures and document production details accurately.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background

* Excellent communication skills

* Proficient in operating CNC Wire EDM machines, particularly those with Fanuc controls.

* Hands-on setup of tooling, fixturing, and wire threading for precision cutting.

THE HOURS:

Flexible days or afters or both / Full time or part time

Days - Monday - Friday 6am-2pm / Afters - Monday - Thursday 2pm-12.30am

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of between £16 - £18 an hour depending on experience.
