Deputy Quality Manager

Venn Group are currently working with a busy NHS organisation who are looking for a Deputy Quality Manager to join their team.

The Deputy Quality Manager will be responsible for:

• Completing activities required for the preparation of the disposition of finished product by the Qualified Person (QP)
• Assisting in the management of the the Pathology Quality Management System which includes pathology, and pathology led, services across the organisation
• Supporting the improvement of service quality and provide areas for improvement
• Ensuring that the Quality Management System used by the organisation meets Health & Safety and other statutory requirements, clinical governance guidance, risk management standards and the quality audit policies and procedures of the Trust 
• Assisting in developing and implementing the Quality Management System regarding quality standards, including relevant external stakeholders
• Providing support in the development of the Pathology Quality Manual and Pathology Quality Policy

It is essential that Deputy Quality Manager must have the following skills and experience:

• Current HCPC registration
• Experience working as an auditor
• Preferably a background in Biomedical Sciences
