REED HR are exclusively recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading and highly successful business.

Providing day to day advice and guidance on employment legislation, best practice, the company policies, procedures, benefits, and will oversee recruitment and other HR objectives.

THE ROLE:

  • Consult with senior stakeholders to deliver new initiatives and operational projects.
  • Lead and development HR People Policies and People projects in line with the organisational goals to produce new and efficient office practices.
  • Support the Directors on the renewal and review of the company benefits package
  • Support the Directors on the pay review process
  • You will be the first point of contact for partners, employees on all payroll matters.
  • To consult with the Directors / Finance Director / to produce salary information
  • Management Learning Development Officer
  • Working with the Learning Development Officer to ensure each recruitment request is supported by a business case, candidate spec and job description, is within budget and is authorised appropriately.
  • To provide day-to-day advice and guidance on all aspects of employee relations and the firm’s procedures related to these.
  • Provide specific advice on disciplinary, grievance and equality and diversity matters
  • Act as investigating officer in disciplinary matters where appropriate and keeping notes of investigations conducted, making recommendations.

THE PERSON:

  • CIPD qualified preferred
  • Experience of being a manager who can deliver the more traditional HRM responsibilities and have experience of managing.
  • HR experience, gained within a professional services environment
  • Experience of handling own employee relations cases; TUPE processes (in and out).
  • Leading or being involved in HR change management projects.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience of conducting recruitment interviews.
  • Experience of reviewing and drafting HR policies and/or employee handbooks.
