Dalgety Bay Care Home is a purpose-built, luxury care service located in the coastal town of Fife. With accommodation for up to 68 residents, our warm and welcoming home offers outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite Care.
We are now looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive and values-led environment where the focus is on delivering exceptional care and making a meaningful difference every day.
What We Offer
- £12.70 per hour
- Contracted up to 38.5 hours per week
- Dayshift hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- £500 Welcome Bonus (paid after 6 months, subject to successful probation)

- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
What You Will Do
As a Care Assistant, you will be a vital part of our care team, supporting residents with daily routines and promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing. You will provide hands-on care in line with individual care plans, help maintain a safe and clean environment, support nutritional needs, and build meaningful relationships that brighten each resident's day. Your kind nature and attention to detail will help create a truly homely and supportive setting for those we care for.
What We Are Looking For
- SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred
- Ideally at least 6 months of experience in a care setting, though we welcome applications from those with a passion for care and transferable skills
- A genuine interest in working with older people and a commitment to delivering excellent care
- A team player with integrity, compassion and strong communication skills
