A quick snapshot of the role:
Commissioning & Decommissioning
- Install and commission equipment across multiple project locations
- Coordinate with customers to gather audit requirements
Technical Documentation & Troubleshooting
- Ensure all equipment documentation (manuals, BEPQM, tools/consumables references) is accessible and up to date
- Provide troubleshooting notices for recurring issues
Training & Customer Support
- Train operators, setters, QC inspectors, maintenance techs, and supervisors
- Provide training reports and certificates
- Train client teams on sample preparation, splice assembly, and e-ticketing
Level 3 Technical Support
- Respond to e-tickets and provide remote or on-site assistance
- Conduct Level 3 preventive maintenance
- Support equipment standardisation and upgrade deployments
- Produce detailed technical service reports
Operational Efficiency Monitoring
- Review on-site procedures and quality processes
- Assess cutting, forging, threading, and testing operations
- Monitor production output and recommend optimisations
What they’re looking for:
- Degree in Engineering or NVQ Level 3/4 (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, or similar)
- Experience in customer service, QC/inspection, or international project work (beneficial)
- Strong technical skills: Mechanical / Electrical / Automation / Hydraulics
- Confident communicator with solid IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Happy to travel regularly within the region
