Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our client's inclusive and welcoming team. Ideally you will have a proven track record in process improvement, with a strong background in machining (Milling/Turning and or Grinding.

This full-time manufacturing role is based in Kegworth, Leicestershire and offers an attractive salary and benefits package. The role is onsite

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will ensure adherence to good housekeeping and safety practices with respect to all work performed. You will also develop and apply creative technical solutions to complex problems, working with manufacturing, process development, engineering, analytical, and quality assurance staff to develop requirements and recommendations for large and complex processes and systems.

In your first few weeks in this manufacturing process engineer role, you can expect to:

Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with process control plans, quality assurance plans, and procedures
Assist in resolution of manufacturing issues and give feedback for improvements in manufacturability
Plan and conduct activities related to the development of new processes, including researching current and emerging technologies, and evaluating process cost, quality and capability alternatives
Facilitate technology transfer from process development to manufacturing processes for new product introductions.
To apply for this Manufacturing Process Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

A minimum HND qualification, ideally with 2+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience
The ability to troubleshoot systemic issues, develop, organise, analyse and present results
The ability to conduct operational (time & motion) studies to maximise workflow and spatial utilisation.
Proven track record in process improvement, with a strong background in machining (Milling/Turning and or Grinding)
