You’ll act as the connector between stores and senior management: coaching teams, lifting capability, and making sure each site delivers the best customer experience possible. If you love developing people, improving operations, and having real influence across multiple locations, this role gives you the ownership and autonomy to make your mark.
What you’ll be responsible for
Operational leadership across multiple stores:
• Lead, coach, and motivate Store Managers to drive sales and efficiency
• Manage recruitment, training, appraisals, and ongoing staff development
• Review stock levels, support replenishment planning, and maintain excellent availability
• Analyse sales reports, spot trends, and plan actions to improve results
• Use IT systems to track performance, labour, costs, and profitability
• Ensure every store meets operational, customer service and health & safety standards
• Respond quickly to customer issues and support stores with escalations
• Plan and deliver promotional activity, displays and seasonal campaigns
• Monitor competitor activity and local market trends
• Review performance weekly and implement improvement plans
Communication & business alignment:
• Build strong relationships with store teams and senior management
• Share business updates, targets, and operational changes clearly and consistently
• Take ownership of wider operational functions (logistics, finance or marketing) based on the store’s needs
What you’ll bring
• Solid leadership experience managing multiple teams or multiple sites
• Strong planning, organisation and delegation skills
• Confident communicator who builds trust quickly
• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of sales, costs and KPIs
• Quick thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt under pressure
• Customer-focused and driven to improve standards
• Team-oriented, positive, and motivated to bring new ideas
What’s on offer
• £40,000–£45,000 annual salary
• 28 days holiday + pension
• Genuine opportunities for progression and professional development
• A dynamic, supportive environment where your ideas matter
If you’re ready to lead a region, develop fantastic teams, and deliver strong results across multiple locations, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and a short cover note explaining why this role interests you.
