We're offering an exciting opportunity for a
Finance Systems Analyst to join the Finance Systems Team at the Wellcome Sanger Institute.
About the Role:You will play a key role in supporting our critical Finance and Procurement platforms, including Unit4 and Adaptive, as we prepare for a major transformation.
We're currently in the process of selecting a new ERP system - with Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Dynamics under consideration - and this role will be instrumental in supporting stakeholders through a smooth and successful transition from our existing systems to the new platform.
You will be responsible for:- Supporting existing system, perform day-to-day administration and monitoring of the both Unit 4 Finance system and Adaptive forecasting system
- Provide help-desk assistance to users across institute - by troubleshooting and quickly resolving issues
- Being a key member for Data Migration project.
- Being a part new ERP system design team to assist the implementation partner to find the optimal out of box solution for Sanger.
- Ensure system compliance with Company policies, procedures and protocols for system standards, customisations and changes
- Taking the lead on training for users
- Strong interpersonal skills, team working and focus on delivering benefits for internal customers

Essential Technical Skills:- Part-qualified accountant or equivalent or equivalent working experience
- Degree in Business, Information Systems or related area or equivalent experience
- Proven experience of supporting finance system (Unit 4 finance system, Oracle fusion, Microsoft dynamics)
- Demonstrable experience in Financial Budgeting and Planning system with Adaptive Insight preferred

Other Information:We have a flexible work ethic and after an initial training period on campus, we offer hybrid-working with minimum of two days per week onsite.
Salary range (Dependant on skills and experience): Grade 1: £54,995 to £65,000 G1 Role profile
